Here’s a little post for Valentine’s Day!
The sensation of overwhelming love from a passionate kiss is incredible – the world spins and I get weak at the knees.
But alas, this is not love; it’s DYSAUTONOMIA!!
Closing my eyes and tilting my head causes dizziness and the rush of blood from the excitement of kissing causes my veins to dilate (in ordinary people they constrict) so my blood pressure plummets and makes me feel like fainting. Sometimes just for kicks my heart palpitations join in on the fun too!
Luckily the lovely men in my life seem to instinctively know what to do – lie me down flat and elevate my legs!
